Now, forward . . .

It’s been twenty years since writemyline.com first surfaced as a personal domain for a required class I was taking at Duke. I had no interest in taking a course that ate up an entire summer of Saturdays on campus, but it was required. I had no choice if I wanted to complete a certificate program in writing.

To make a long 20-year story short, writemyline has evolved into this – to what you are seeing on your screen right now. From editing doctoral dissertations, editing and proofreading too many manuscripts to count, writing marketing copy, and occasionally blogging, to being a vendor of journals and all associated things, particularly the analog variety. I’m happy to be here doing something so unlike a job that it feels like I’m on a holiday.

Now it feels like I’m on a holiday, after the Budster and I have been working our tails off for the last couple of months making room for and accumulating inventory. I’ve loved opening up the packages as they have arrived. I’ve not so much loved finding room to store them. It’s also been a baffling adventure turning a blog into a storefront. (I thought it would be a lot easier! What was I thinking!) But, anyway, we’ve finally arrived. And we’re ready to move forward with new friends and old ones, too.

So . . . WELCOME, FRIENDS! Thanks for visiting us!

Buddy and I are so glad you’re here to say browse our little shop and, perhaps, make a purchase. Even though there are a few items we’re waiting on, the shop is moving forward and opening its virtual doors on Saturday.

Thank you for being here and supporting our little shop. I, especially, hope you love the journals as much as I have loved acquiring them for you.

Be sure to stay in touch and let us hear from you.
Thanks, again.

P.S. WriteMyLine’s Facebook followers get a free Buddy Bag with each order from August 29 through September 12. Just leave me a note at check-out that you’d like your free gift!
